Stuart Brownstein

About

Stuart Brownstein is a next generation Security Professional.  He currently serves at as a Professional Security Officer in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.  Besides working as a Security Professional, Stuart is also the Chief instructor and Owner of the Sierra Bravo Institute (SBI).

The Sierra Bravo Institute, founded in 2007 is a multifaceted training organization. The Institute currently provide SBI’s own Firearm Safety Course as well as NRA Basic Pistol and NRA First S.T.E.P.S. Pistol Training. While these are the courses currently offered, Stuart is working diligently in adding more training to the mix. In the near future the Institute plans on teaching personal defense training, a myriad of NRA courses, State of Florida “D” License Security Classes and “G” License Statewide Firearms Classes.

While Stuart has been busy in these great fields he has also dedicated himself to finishing his college degree and earning a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army through the Reserve Officer’s Training Corp (ROTC) program at the University of South Florida.

Stuart is well on his way to a successful and great life. Although if you ask him he might say he has already had a pretty good life.  Even through life’s challenges, Stuart has always managed to pull himself out of the pits and make things work. he has also had many different jobs in life in varying fields which make him a well rounded individual.

Things Stuart has already tackled in his life include: being a pantry cook in a couple different restaurants, being an IT professional at several different companies, being a sales associate at a few places, just being a student (still doing that one), being a trapper for a sporting clays club, being a security specialist, being a firearms instructor, being an elected official in his own county, and being politically and socially active.
